We’re kicking off our wedding blogs with one of the most magical foggy Muskoka weddings and it’s hard to know where to start! Courtney and Brad’s wedding weekend was epic. It started with a sunset boat cruise and ended with fiery sunset portraits. Almost as epic? This was the first weekend Alex and I had away from the kids together since we even had kids.
As soon as we walked into the charming Sherwood Inn, we knew the weekend was going to be amazing! We were greeted by the kindest staff and welcomed by a custom Spring Meadow Co. sign (swoon) along with gift bags and custom bottles of wine. From there, we headed off to party the night away on their sunset party cruise alongside their family and friends.
Their ceremony was straight out of a romance movie. As the rain was pouring, they shared their vows and first kiss amongst the coniferous trees, looking over Lake Joseph.
Once it stopped raining, the fog set in to create the most magical backdrop for their very first portraits as husband and wife.
Then it was time for one of our favourite parts of the wedding – the reception and sunset portraits! Sneaking away during magic hour will forever be one of our favourite photo moments.
Courtney and Brad, your love is pure magic.
