We met up with Kristine + Brad to capture their engagement photos at one of our favourite places, The Elora Mill in Ontario, Canada. This location offers several attributes that make it an excellent spot for engagement shoots. It is situated in a picturesque location along the Grand River, surrounded by stunning natural landscapes including the gorgeous Elora Gorge. We love the variety of engagement photo worthy landscapes, from lush greenery to cascading waterfalls, the backdrop provides a romantic and visually appealing setting for engagement photos. In addition to the naturally beautiful surroundings, the Elora Mill itself is a beautifully restored historic mill that dates back to the 19th century. Its charming architecture, including stone walls, wooden beams, and vintage details, adds character and elegance to the photos, creating a timeless feel.
We started out by exploring the areas surrounding the Mill and took advantage of quiet streets and pathways to capture their undeniable chemistry.
Then we headed over to the bridge, which overlooks the Grand River and the Elora Mill. The charm of the small town complete with classic lamp posts and stone walls was simply perfect!
Next, we explored the Elora Gorge, one of our favourite backdrops for engagement photos featuring the iconic bridge.
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate an engagement then popping a bottle of champagne and that’s exactly what we did!
